Invensys provides products, solutions, services and support for customers in a wide range of business sectors. The largest business sectors in which our customers operate include:

Process industry, oil and gas, hydrocarbons, power and utilities and general industrial automation, where the Invensys offering includes the sale and support of SCADA technology, PLCs, DCS systems, Enterprise Asset Management software and the InFusion Enterprise Control System, simulation and model-based optimisation, automated plant safety and critical control systems and measurement and instrumentation devices such as the Digital Coriolis flowmeter.

This business sector is primarily served by Invensys Process Systems (IPS) and Wonderware.

Discrete manufacturing, pharmaceutical and heat treatment, where Invensys businesses supply DCS solutions, data recorders, controllers, indicators and calibration and process optimisation services to help customers to meet statutory and validation requirements and improve their functional performance.

This business sector is primarily served by Eurotherm and Wonderware.

Mainline rail transport and mass transit, where Invensys businesses design, install and service integrated train management and control systems, safety-based train monitoring and automation systems such as electronic interlockings and a range of control centre and trackside equipment such as signals, track circuits and points machines.
