Invensys Rail
Invensys Rail is a multinational technology leader, providing state-of-the-art software-based signalling, communication and control systems that enable the safe and efficient operation of trains in mainline and mass transit networks across the world, including ten of the world’s 20 busiest metropolitan rail systems.
At any given moment, around 100 million people around the world are travelling on a train. As we supply solutions to over 100 customers in over 30 countries, millions of them are enjoying that opportunity thanks to the work of Invensys Rail.
We measure, control, optimise and empower
Invensys Rail trackside and train-based monitoring products measure traffic across a rail network, identifying where trains are and how fast they are going. Our ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System), CBTC (Communication Based Train Control) and train safety solutions control traffic on rail networks, ensuring that trains move at the fastest safe speed and are able to respond quickly to changes in traffic or emergencies.
By allowing trains to move faster, more safely, rail service providers can optimise their performance, using real-time data to identify the current condition of their service and take action to improve or correct it. Invensys Rail empowers governments and infrastructure providers to give their citizens and stakeholders fast, reliable and safe rail services.
