Appointment of executive director

Invensys plc, the global technology group, announces the appointment of Victoria Hull to the Board as an executive director. Victoria is the Group's Chief Legal Officer with responsibility for the management of legal, compliance and commercial risk across the Group.

She joined Invensys in 2001, since when she has been an integral member of the Group's senior management team.

1. Biography

Victoria qualified as a solicitor with Clifford Chance, working in their corporate finance department. In 1994, she joined Telewest Communications plc as General Counsel and Company Secretary becoming an Executive Director of the Telewest Board in 1998. She joined Invensys in 2001 as General Counsel.

2. Key remuneration arrangements

Victoria Hull's basic salary is £340,000 and her other annual benefits will be inline with the executive directors' remuneration policy as disclosed in the Remuneration Report contained in the Group's 2011 Annual Report and Accounts.
