VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL


In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we would like to
notify the market of the following:


At close of business on 31 January 2008 the Company's issued capital consisted
of 797,024,564 Ordinary shares of 10p each. No shares were held in treasury at
the date of announcement.


Therefore, the total number of current voting rights in the Company was
797,024,564.


The above figure (797,024,564 Ordinary shares) may be used by shareholders as
the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the
Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
