INVENSYS WELCOMES INCLUSION IN THE FTSE 100 INDEX AND RECLASSIFICATION TO TECHNOLOGY SECTOR
Invensys plc welcomes its inclusion in the FTSE 100 Index and its reclassification by FTSE. The Company will be moved from within the "Electronic Equipment" subsector of the Industrial Goods & Services super-sector to the "Software" subsector of the "Technology" super-sector. These changes will become effective on 23 June 2008.
Invensys' business mix has been transformed in recent years and it is now a global technology and controls company serving most industries, with a particular focus on basic materials, energy and transportation.
