The Avantis unit of Invensys Process Systems today announced that it has
achieved Gold Certified Partner level in the Microsoft Partner Program. The
certification recognizes a Microsoft Competency in ISV/Software Solutions and in
Networking Infrastructure Solutions.
Microsoft Gold Certified Partners represent the top tier of organizations within
the Microsoft Partner Program and membership is only awarded to those who have
demonstrated the highest level of expertise in creating and implementing
solutions based on Microsoft technologies. According to Microsoft, only about
5,000 of its 775,000 global partners achieve Gold certification.
“As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner we are now part of a leading group of
technology partners with access to extensive resources, training and technical
expertise. This will allow us to further use and integrate Microsoft technology
and provide our customers with even more advanced enterprise asset management (EAM)
solutions to optimize asset performance,” said Neil Cooper, General Manager of
the Avantis unit of Invensys Process Systems. “Becoming a Microsoft Gold
Certified Partner strengthens an already strong and strategic relationship with
Microsoft.”
Avantis successfully earned certification by meeting Microsoft’s criteria by
successfully passing independent Windows platform tests on its Condition
Monitoring solution, providing approved customer references and employing a
number of Microsoft Certified Professionals.
