Invensys Controls announces intention to end manufacturing operations in Thyez, France

Invensys Controls, part of the Invensys group of companies, announces its intention to end manufacturing operations in Thyez, France.

Thyez is a French engineering and manufacturing operation supplying Electronic and Electromechanical products for the EMEA Appliance Washer and Dryer markets. Thirty-four (34) people are affected by this action.

The Company has made this announcement as a result of a phase out by the customers of the majority products it currently manufactures at that facility.

Approximately 55 employees in the Research and Development group including related support activities are not impacted by this announcement and will continue to be located at the facility.

Invensys Controls has initiated discussions regarding this intention with the employee representatives and local trade unions.
