Invensys Controls Launches FireX® House Display Program New promotion puts products under one roof

Invensys Controls today announced a new program that offers its Electrical Wholesale Channel distributors a free FireX® House Display to help boost their sales of FireX smoke and CO alarms.

The display is a 22 square-inch wide, 43 inch tall pallet featuring three shelves and full-color graphics, including faux wood grain finish, a shingled roof and a “chimney” product literature display.

“The FireX House Display is a great way for our distributors to promote brand awareness among both their customers and staff,” said Kathy Ellington, General Manager for Safety Products. “We’re excited to be able to offer this display in time for Fire Safety Month in October.”

After ordering the specified minimum quantity of alarm products, distributors will receive the display simultaneously with their ordered products. The FireX sales team will assist distributors with display set up and stocking.

In addition to providing an attention-getting way to display products, the program also helps distributors maintain adequate inventory.

“FireX is the choice of professional contractors,” said Ellington. “This display program will help ensure that the products they need will be in-stock and easy to find.”

The display program is open to all Electrical Wholesale distributors in the U.S. and Canada through March 30, 2007 or while display quantities are available. Both English and French language displays are available. Distributors can contact their FireX account manager to qualify for the program.

The FireX House Display program is the latest in a series of special initiatives in Invensys Controls’ Safety segment. In July, the company announced a $6.7 million investment in its FireX and Monox® brands, providing funds for capital improvements, a sizeable build-up of inventory, and a doubling of engineering staff.
