Invensys plc announces that Bay Green has been appointed as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 January 2005. Mr. Green will become a member of the Audit and Nominating Committees and, following the Company’s 2005 AGM, will also become the senior independent director on the Board.
Bay Green, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and member of the Securities Institute, has more than thirty years’ experience in corporate finance, and is currently a Vice Chairman of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He has also served for the last six years as a Non-Executive Director of RPC Group plc, Europe’s leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, where he is the senior independent director and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He recently became a trustee of Help the Hospices.
