Invensys Controls announces intention to close its manufacturing operations in Lomazzo, Italy

Invensys Controls, part of the Invensys group of companies, announces its intention to close its manufacturing facility located in Lomazzo, Italy. The plant manufactures temperature controls primarily for the domestic refrigeration industry. On March 29th Invensys Controls initiated discussions regarding this intention with the employee representatives and local trade unions. The Lomazzo facility employs 220 people.

The Company has made this announcement as part of its business strategy to consolidate and optimize its manufacturing foot print. This process is expected to be completed over the next 12 months.
