Invensys Rail Group awarded contract for Turkish high speed line
Posted 14 July 2008Dimetronic, part of the Invensys Rail Group, has been awarded a signalling and communications contract for the Ankara-Konya high speed line by Yapi Merkezi, the Turkish civil contractor. This is IRG’s first major contract in Turkey, which is planning a significant increase in rail infrastructure investment over the coming years, and was won against substantial international competition.
The scope of the contract includes the signalling system with electronic interlockings, track circuits, ERTMS Level 1 train protection system and the traffic control centre for the 212 km long transportation system.
