Invensys plc announces that Wayne Edmunds will be appointed a director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Invensys plc with effect from 1 June 2009. He succeeds Steve Hare who, as previously announced, will be leaving Invensys and resigning from the Board on 31 May 2009 having signed off the year end results and annual report.
Wayne is currently CFO of Invensys Process Systems. He joined the Group from Reuters America, Inc where he had been SVP of Finance and had previously held senior financial roles in the technology sector including seventeen years with Lucent Technologies, Inc. Wayne will be relocating to the UK and will work out of the Group’s headquarters in London. He will be working with Steve Hare during the next two months to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
