Invensys plc, a global a global technology group focussed upon industrial automation, rail transportation and controls, was selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the 3rd straight year in recognition of the company's economic, environmental and social performance. Invensys had been listed on the DJSI World and European Indices since 2009.
"For Invensys, inclusion on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices reflects our focus on enabling our customers to operate their processes more safely and efficiently," said Wayne Edmunds, Invensys’ Chief Executive. "The need to act responsibly and sustainably on behalf of our customers and within our own operations continues to be a priority, and we are honoured that the DJSI have recognised our hard work and perseverance.”
Launched in 1999, the DJSI are the first global indices tracking the financial performance of more than 2,700 leading, sustainability-driven companies worldwide who report on their sustainability performance.
